Summer Songstress Advances Again on American Idol
Erika Van Pelt, who sings with summer wedding favorite Sultans of Swing, makes it into semi-finalist round of American Idol 2012
As we reported last month, , headliner for the Sultans of Swing - one of the Island's go-to wedding bands, wowed the American Idol judges and was sent off to Hollywood for the next level of American Idol competitions.
Though she almost didn't make the cut this time, judges Jennifer Lopez, Steven Tyler and Randy Jackson decided to take a chance on Van Pelt and send her forward to take part in American Idol 2012.
