Snow to Continue Today

When will the snow taper off? Patch has the latest weather forecast.

 

 

Snow showers could remain heavy at times today, according to the National Weather Service. There will be a high near 29 degrees.  

It will be very windy, with a north wind 33 to 40 mph. Winds could gust as high as 50 mph.

New snow accumulation is expected to be between 6 to 10 inches.

The National Weather Service has declared a coastal flood watch for the entire Massachusetts coast line — including the Vineyard.

Forecasters say "numerous coastal roads" could become impassable during this morning's high tide. It could be accompanied by large waves and a storm surge of two-three feet, the Weather Service warns.

Snow showers will begin to taper off into the afternoon.  It will be mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly clear, with a low around 18.
