Open for Business: Martha's Vineyard Restaurants

A look at who's open or about to open this week on the Vineyard. Did we miss your favorite place? Tell us in the comments.

Are you hungry? More Martha's Vineyard restaurants are opening to serve you, expanding their hours and services and updating their menus this last week of April, 2013.

Porto Pizza at 36 Water St. in Vineyard Haven posted Tuesday on Facebook that "We'll offer delivery on the Vineyard every day from 5-9 pm except for Wednesdays. Call us at 508-693-6200 if you'd like fresh pizza delivered!"

Slice of Life at 50 Circuit Ave., Oak Bluffs posted, "This is the last week for our winter specials! Come and get them while you can!"

John's Fish Market, 5 Martin Rd. at State Road, Vineyard Haven posted: John's Fish Market hours MON-SAT 9am-7pm Sunday 10-6, Sandy's Fish "N" Chips hours MON-SAT 11am-7PM closed Sundays. We are looking forward to seeing all of you SOON!!! Keep an eye out for our daily specials!!!"

Giordano's takeout at 18 Lake Ave., Oak Bluffs opens April 25.

Thursday is also opening night for l'etoile at 22 North Water St., Edgartown: A Facebook update promises "a full menu, Chef's tasting menu and new additions to the wine list (wines by the glass, a few fab wines, new Champagne cocktail)."

Starting April 26, you can grab coffee and a bagel or pastry at Murdick's Cafe, just across the street from l'etoile, and then head out to Morning Glory Farm to shop what's growing in the greenhouses (the farm stand opens next month).

For a bigger breakfast, the Edgartown Inn at 56 North Water St. has reopened for the season with its "Full Vineyard Breakfast" for $12 and a Continental breakfast for $7.

Other Island eateries recently open for the season include the Atlantic, 2 Main St. in Edgartown; Lure Grill at the Winnetu in Katama, State Road in West Tisburym, Faith's Seafood Shack in Aquinnah, Coop de Ville in Oak Bluffs and the Black Dog in Vineyard Haven.
