High Tide, Sleety Storm Soak Martha's Vineyard: Photos

The water rose and the mixed precipitation fell on another stormy Cape and Islands weekend. Do you have weather photos from this latest nor'easter? Click the button to share your images.

What a difference a week makes:

Last Sunday and Monday we saw astonishingly low tides at midday. This Sunday noon, high water lapped at the coastline as rain fell relentlessly, mixed with sleet and small hail at times.

Along Lighthouse Beach in Edgartown, the tidal flats and rocky rubble observed a week ago were underwater and only a strip of sand remained as a barrier between open water and the coastal ponds and summer homes a few yards away.

Between 7 a.m. and 1 p.m., according to the National Weather Service, one-half an inch of rainfall had been measured at the Martha's Vineyard Airport.
