Turning plants into paper, Musical Mondays and an Oscar-winning Civil War movie at the Katharine Cornell Theater.

1. The Martha's Vineyard Film Society and the Martha's Vineyard Museum will present the Oscar-winning Civil War movieat 8 p.m. at the Katharine Cornell Theatre. Admission is $8, $5 for MV Film Society of MV Museum Members.

2. Want to turn you plants into paper? Seastone Papers will on the subject at its West Tisbury headquarters from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The cost is $80.

3. The Old Sculpin’ Gallery has . An exhibit featuring Steve London’s gyotaku prints and Meg Mercier’s oil paintings went up yesterday, and will remain on exhibit though July 1.

4. Featherstone Center for the Arts will host Jon Zeeman and Friends for its latest . The outdoor concert takes place from 6:30 to 8 p.m., and costs $7, $5 with the Our Island Club Card.

5. The Vineyard Sound Vocal Group will perform at the Trinity United Methodist Church in Oak Bluffs at 8pm.
