Five Things You Need To Know Today: June 28

A peep show, a baseball game and the start of the Down-Island Farmers' Market.

1. The Martha’s Vineyard Sharks will s at 5 p.m. at the in Oak Bluffs. Tisbury residents will be admitted for free.

2. The will host from 7 to 8:00 p.m. The program is intended for those ages 10 and up, and will examine the nesting habits of local birds on the beach.

3. The Down-Island Farmer’s Market kicks off the summer season at 9 a.m. Local produce vendors, artists and musicians will set up camp at 144 Beach Road, in Vineyard Haven, until 1 p.m.
