Five Things You Need To Know Today: August 9

A kids' concert, a glimpse inside Edgartown homes and pizza so guilt-free it actually benefits a good cause.

1. Holly Bellebuono of Vineyard Herbs returns to from 1 to 3 p.m. for a . This hands-on workshop starts with a walk to identify and collect medicinal herbs and weeds on the Arboretum grounds. Afterward, participants will make their own oil infusions and beeswax-based ointments. The cost is $45 adults, $40 for Polly Hill members.

2. Children’s musician Ben Gundersheimer, better known as , will perform at Tuesdays at Twilight: Concerts at at 6 p.m. Tickets are $6 and benefit plans to expand the West Tisbury Library. Grandparents will be admitted for free.
