Best of Patch Readers' Choice: Best Sporting Goods Store
Sporting Goods doesn't just mean baseball mitts - it also means surfboards, yoga blocks and fishing poles. Where is your favorite sporting goods store on Martha's Vineyard?
You may think that there are just one or two sporting goods stores on Martha’s Vineyard, but in fact, when we talk sporting goods, we don’t just mean tennis rackets and basketball shoes. We also mean fishing poles and surfboards, yoga blocks and baseball bats. So, when you come to think of it, we’ve got our fair share of sporting good shops on Martha’s Vineyard like:
Do you swear a rod from Coop's catches the best fish? Or does Larry's have the best selection of lures? Do you get your yoga pants at Brickman's? Your skateboards at the Green Room? Your softballs at Sport Haven? Make sure you vote and then go to your nominee’s page in Patch Places and give them a review. Voting is open until Friday morning at 9 am. The winner will be announced at noon on Friday.

OOPS! You left out all of the bike shops. Not only are bicycles a viable means of transportation on this very small Island but the health benefits are immeasurable, the impact on our environment, nonexistent. And then there are the wonders of ones pocket book. I haven't bought gasoline in just about 11 months.
As the poll stands, I would say none of the above.

Thanks David. I thought about including them, but instead hope to run a best bike shop contest...there are so many on the Island, I think it would be great to know which one folks like best.

Think you mean fishing "poles" although I would gladly take part in a fishing poll.

Dang fishing polls! I thought I caught all of them. Fixed now, Thanks Ezra and yes, a fishing poll would be a great idea!
