Best of Patch Readers' Choice: Best Soup or Chowder
Where do you go to get the best soup or chowder on Martha's Vineyard?
We are an Island that takes many things about ourselves quite seriously. One of those things is our clam chowder. We like it thick, super creamy, well seasoned and with a clam-to-potato ratio that definitely favors the clam. We also like our soup, too.
There are many restaurants that serve soup and chowder on Martha’s Vineyard and then there are those who make us proud like:
As with most things we hold dear, we feel strongly about our favorite chowder here. Some swear the Bite’s chowder can never be outdone. And there are those who travel down-Island and brave five corners in the summer, just to get some of the award winning Net Result chowder. Others say the newly arrived MV Chowder Company lives up to its name.
Who makes your favorite soup or chowder? Vote and then go to your favorite's spot’s page in Patch Places and give them a review. Tell us in the comments why you like one soup or chowder above all the rest. If we’ve missed your favorite place, tell us that in the comments, too.
Voting will close on Friday morning at 9 am and the winner will be announced that day at noon.

I don't like thickened chowder, so I vote for the "classic" chowder at MV Chowder Co.
